#proscribing
If an organisation needed proscribing, it wasn’t Palestine Action.

Palestine Action are found not guilty for the offence that our government claimed as grounds for proscribing them.

I just voted against proscribing Palestine Action, a civil disobedience group, as a terrorist organisation. But I'm furious that in doing so, the government forced me and others to vote against proscribing two other clearly terrorist groups. Cynical and dangerous from govt.

Proscribing Palestine Action is looking a worse and worse decision day by day.
September 16, 2025 at 12:22 PM
I assume this is obvious, but I’ll say it anyway:

The advantage of proscribing a non-existent organisation is that no one can prove they don’t belong to it.

To all those demonstrating against the proscribing of Palestine Action, salute!

The government may need to look into proscribing X if Elon Musk can not contain calls for terrorist violence

"Young people are radicalized"

Yeah, like 80% of people 18 to 35 now support proscribing the GOP.
August 17, 2025 at 11:30 PM
I'm under no illusions that it owuld be easy or even politically possible, but we would absolutely lose nothing of value by proscribing the existence of Panhellenic campus fraternities
September 30, 2026 at 3:30 AM
They need proscribing
July 5, 2025 at 6:47 AM
I voted against proscribing Palestine Action. The govt cynically lumped this vote together with real terrorist groups.

While I support proscribing actual extremist groups like the indefensible MMC and RIM, I refuse to conflate direct action with terrorism.

Great news: the High Court has granted permission for a full judicial review of the government's order proscribing Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act.
Let's hope he government's idiotic and draconian order is overturned.

Sounds like a case for proscribing them

Like does any conservative Jewish organization have a contingency plan for when you have candidate campaigning on proscribing both the ADL and SPLC?
May 12, 2026 at 4:01 AM
So, it turns out the government didn’t follow due process when proscribing Palestine Action? Imagine my shock

restraining, proscribing, everywhere #facetious

Conclusion on ground 6 - the decision to seek the Order proscribing Palestine Action was made by the Home Secretary in breach of her own policy on when she would exercise her
discretion to seek an order proscribing an organisation.

Andy Burnham also needs to look into a TV camera and say he is proscribing Daniel “Tommo” Thomas‘s blackshirts
I want the Prime Minister to look into a TV camera and say the RNLI are heroes, that we do not change policy by street violence in this country, and that he expects any criminal action to face the full force of the law. That's it. That's all he has to do.

Protect lesbians by protecting our right to exist in public. Protect butches by destroying rigid gender roles and proscribing people’s lives by their genitalia

This ruling shows that proscribing Palestine Action was a grave misuse of terrorism laws.

Labour must accept its mistake, drop its appeal and stop wasting taxpayers' money on suppressing civil liberties.
February 13, 2026 at 8:26 PM
We told them proscribing Palestine Action was a terrible idea. A terrible, unlawful idea, as it turns out.

UNLAWFUL ARREST

This woman was arrested for holding a sign with “I do not support the proscription of Palestine Action” on it, a totally lawful statement to make, even under the Labour government’s absurd new laws proscribing the direct action group.

This is the real reason they're proscribing Palestine Action.
July 2, 2025 at 11:01 AM
It's called terrorism, and a serious government would be proscribing it as such.
What on earth is happening?
