Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will hear the case to determine the fate of more than 350,000 TPS holders from Haiti and Syria - and potentially the futures of 1.3 million TPS holders across 17 countries.

We're outside #SCOTUS today to #ProtectTPS! The vast majority of those losing work permits and protections are Black and brown. This is intentional, designed to expand mass deportation. Its effects would go far beyond family separation, it would hurt all workers and weaken the economy.

"Overall, Haitian TPS holders have contributed nearly $6 billion to the national economy, including more than $800 million in federal and payroll taxes. Force them to leave, and those contributions go with them." #ProtectTPS
The House vote to extend TPS reflects a simple truth: TPS holders are essential to this country.

Should SCOTUS unjustly terminate TPS for Haiti, "the country will suffer the triple-blows of mass family separation, exacerbated worker shortages, and overall economic losses"

TPS holders support 390,000 U.S. citizen children and contributed $29 billion annually to the U.S. economy. Ending TPS would be senseless cruelty—tearing families apart and weakening communities across the country.
