fine I'll change email providers AGAIN but to what??
Wooooof Proton employees are now admitting they monitor and delete posts that are too negative about the company. Users figured out that embattled CEO Andy Yen has moderator privileges over the subreddit that’s criticizing him, and they’re monitoring the suppression to track effectiveness.

Under Abbott and Paxton, Texas has been suing abortion providers in blue states who mail pills to patients in Texas, testing the limits of blue-state shield laws. I expect the new governor and attorney general to drop those cases immediately.

Phoenix’ing.

Why isn’t the NDIS data matching banned provider names against directors/owners of providers, particularly when businesses change hands?

My healthcare providers are now my #1 health problem, beating out my pharmacy and insurance company for the 5th straight month. Congratulations, healthcare providers!

Did you know state health departments have a 24/7 on-call line so you can reach them in an emergency?

This is for healthcare providers with public health emergencies (like a potential measles case) or members of the public being monitored for illness
EPI ON CALL -
For Healthcare Providers: Epi-on-Call Phone Numbers are intended for healthcare providers to report diseases or conditions of public health importance to their health department.

Are you under the impression healthcare providers can't be pedophiles, or that mandating healthcare providers check the genitals of children rather than trust what the child themself or even their fucking birth certificate says serves no medical purpose?

using your own domain for your email is great. lets you seamlessly switch email providers without a hitch

1. allow trans Texans to change their birth certificates and DLs again
2. drop the settlement Texas has against hospitals that provide gender affirming care to kids
3. publicly state tax dollars won’t be spent to prosecute abortion providers/seekers

all things the Texas AG could do w/o legislature

At this point the idea of switching email providers again to some other company that's just going to prove to be as rotten as Proton is just depressing.

There's a very real chance the AI buildout will collapse because there isn't the demand and the economics aren't good for AI providers. That has nothing to do with who's in power. But Democrats will be blamed. Some companies may be relieved they can get out of data center commitments.

This is an underdiscussed issue with the mass "agentization" of the internet. If you want to break away from major website and make your own, you're now getting pseudo-DDoSed by all these LLM providers. It's awful!

France’s National Assembly has approved an amendment to its proposed 2027 budget that would tax digital content providers €0.055 per gigabyte of data delivered to French internet users.

This could raise €10B annually, largely from tech giants like Google, Meta and Netflix.

The tax is not yet law.
