Are they gonna publish a retraction or nah?
"For a lot of progressives, Stevens hasn’t done enough. No matter how many times she says she’s supporting El-Sayed, progressives are sure that, in her heart of hearts, she doesn’t really mean it. She doesn’t truly love El-Sayed. To which I say: Grow up."
Stop Whining. Just Win.
Republicans are babies. Some progressives are, too.

But they couldn't publish the Trump rape allegation published by Congress because they didn't have independent corroboration. 🤔
Nasty work by the Times here. Law enforcement sources say they found "some evidence" that Ilhan Omar married her brother, but the paper doesn't say who they are or what the evidence is.

DSA has its issues but many in the party are serious and principled. This essay is so fucking embarrassing, I would rather publish every diary I've ever had since I was 8 than publish something like this

The Seattle Times has more reporting resources than The Urbanist, but also we would never publish counterproductive garbage about pedestrian safety.
Moral of the story: If you want fewer crash deaths, target the people and institutions who can make the most substantive change.

Worse than pointless, blaming individuals is a distraction. This op-ed is counterproductive garbage.

We’re watching Mamdani Derangement Syndrome play out again. If you are willing to publish statements smearing a candidate like this, you should have rock-solid evidence of their dangerous beliefs, not some reposts and vague accusations against people they’re associated with.

I’m sure there’s plenty of Nobel winners with warnings for Republicans. It’s a decision to publish this one and not the others

I’m planning on spending the lockout writing non-erotic baseball fanfiction anyhow, so I hope they’ll let me publish there.

I just wish more of the people I made deeply upset had remembered that I publish horror under a different name so they won't go in expecting urban fantasy tropes. Horror has different rules, and the breaking points are much grimmer.
Horror writers are like "If I can make just one person deeply upset, it will all be worth it."

Omfg no way, no way did someone write this and hit publish on purpose
There's a difference between a blowout and a mandate. Confusing the two could tempt Democrats to overread the results and forget the serious credibility problem they still face heading into 2028.
Democrats could learn wrong message from a blowout victory
A big Election Night could mask the party's larger image problem.
