When they inevitably recount Florida they're gonna put a hit out on him and get him when he's getting a pubsub
Bolsonaro gonna have to flee the country he fled to.

One frequent complaint about LiveComponents in #LiveView is that you can't integrate them with PubSub, since there's no handle_info callback (+ no way to unsubscribe). LiveView 1.3 (no release date yet) will include a unified way of using PubSub from both LiveViews and LiveComponents #MyElixirStatus

If I had a pound for every time my team tried to build a point-to-point RPC system on top of a pubsub system, everyone in the team would receive two pounds, because that's just how pubsub works.

Built on Ash and Phoenix LiveView 🧩

15 Ash resources hold the documents, and the admin updates live over PubSub. Every write fires a Mishka Installer event, so a plugin, one Elixir module, can refuse a page, add badges and tabs, or rewrite a head. Our site runs three.

I built Potions for one language: Elixir. It builds native Mix releases instead of containers, opens IEx on your running node in the browser, and clusters nodes so PubSub works across servers.

Deploy Elixir apps to servers you own, in your DigitalOcean or Hetzner account or your own Ubuntu server: native Mix releases, zero-downtime deploys, SSL, PostgreSQL, backups and a browser IEx…

Check out our blog where Brian walks through building a Phoenix PubSub adapter backed by EventStore, an alternative to the default PG2 and Redis options.

No Erlang distribution required. Every broadcast persisted for replay and audit.

verified_pubsub 0.2.0 was released over the weekend. This version adds support for a list of events on handle_message. The API continues to shake out the more I use it in anger at work. hex.pm/packages/ver... #ElixirLang

Check your SignalR and Web PubSub resources right now. If public network access is enabled, which is the default, your realtime message plane accepts connections from any network. Keys and tokens are the only boundary.

oh this is sick! not having a common pubsub interface for interoperability between apps has definitely been one of the pain points, itll be really nice to be able to slap in data sources
