Also this is not about religion, but the technique all grifter pyschics and cult leaders do: use any tell to work a mark, then refine each subsequent responses to make the message seem more magical. This method is formulaic enough that an LLM can mimic it & one can argue that's all it really does.

if theres one thing I'll say im not fond of in pokemon pisces its how they keep making all kinds of weird obtuse little changes. pyschics are immune to confusion and hypnosis, fairies only resist dragon instead of immune it, but also they ignore prankser? ignoring prankster also works differently
