Happy birthday to both Mackenzie Crook and Ian McShane, who played Ragetti and Blackbeard respectively! Mackenzie Crook made Ragetti so iconic and I can’t imagine anyone else playing that role. I’m also a big fan of Ian McShane’s Blackbeard, I love his portrayal!

Pintel and Ragetti are probably my favourite characters in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.
They're portrayed as a pair of idiots, but they're more like an Audience Surrogate, acting just as any one of us watching the movies would act if we were suddenly thrown into that world. Love it.
