This is one of the things that irks me about the RCC. They always have their hand out for public money while refusing the public good part of the deal.
If you want to discriminate , don’t ask to dip into the public treasury.

Also Vatican 2 pretty clearly said that the highest authority you are required to follow is your own personal conscience. This is kind of why all the "Excommunicate Vance" posts are cope. Unless you are actually ordained, the RCC is not really going to police any believers views too closely

IIRC the Catholic Trinity is non-binary by definition? (Father and Son are gendered but the RCC is pretty vague about the Holy Spirit's pronouns.)
