#LatestNews The Kings Langley floating market is on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, 10am to 5pm each day, on the Grand Union Canal towpath at Kings Langley. The Roving Canal Traders Association organises it. Browsing is free. Where to find it RCTA puts the boats on the Grand Union Canal towpath at Kings Langley. The official listing names the towpath rather than a street address, so look for the trading boats along the cut once you reach the village. Check the RCTA event page before you set off in case the mooring note changes. Napton on the Oxford Canal is another RCTA floating market the same weekend, also 10am to 5pm each day, if you are further west. What to expect Traders sell from their boats along the towpath. Crafts, food and chandlery are the usual RCTA mix. The association does not list named boats for Kings Langley, so treat the line-up as liable to change. Everyone selling is a Canal & River Trust registered roving trader, licensed and insured. You browse at your

#LatestNews The Halloween floating market runs on two Grand Union stretches the same weekend: Cassiobury Park in Watford and Cosgrove. Both are on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, 10am to 4pm each day, organised by the Roving Canal Traders Association. Browsing from the towpath is free. Cassiobury Park, Watford The Cassiobury Park Halloween market sits on the Grand Union Canal towpath between locks 76 and 77, Cassiobury Park, Watford WD18 7LG. RCTA lists it as the Cassiobury Park Halloween Floating Market. The park is a well-used Watford green, so you can combine the boats with a walk through the grounds. Check the RCTA Cassiobury listing before you travel. Cosgrove The Cosgrove Halloween market is on the Grand Union Canal towpath at Cosgrove, the same hours. RCTA’s booking feed names Cosgrove but does not give a fuller street address, so do not guess a lock or a postcode from older years. Look for the trading boats on the towpath, and check the RCTA events calendar on the day.

Three RCTA floating markets this bank holiday weekend
#LatestNews Three floating markets open on the cut this bank holiday: Campbell Wharf, Marsworth and Chester. All three run Saturday 29 August to Monday 31 August, 10am to 5pm each day, and all three are organised by the Roving Canal Traders Association. Pick whichever is nearest and make a day of it. Where to find them Campbell Wharf sits on the Grand Union in Milton Keynes, with the boats mooring at the wharf itself. The Startops market at Marsworth lines the Grand Union towpath alongside Marsworth Reservoir — a fine stretch of water even without a market on it. Chester gathers on the Shropshire Union at The Lock Keepers, just past the Cow Lane Bridge winding hole heading towards City Road Bridge. What to expect Traders sell straight from their boats along the towpath, so you browse at whatever pace suits you. Expect café boats, arts and crafts, giftware and food by the water. Everyone selling is a Canal & River Trust registered roving trader — licensed, insured, and working with CRT
