I had a specific service of mine go from needing to allocate per connection leading to a growing ~70mb+ of mem usage. Once I swapped it to h2 it sat at a stable ~10mb regardless of load, connection reuse is really important for some workloads

Follow up questions: how much does this process contribute to the unique way the brain functions?
Like, does our exceptional ability to reuse ideas we've learned result from the modular structures imposed by genetics and development?

"hey wouldn't it be funny if we had prompt suffix reuse not only scan the in-memory cache but also all the on-disk cache and pull chunks from there?"
*10 min*
"done. accuracy is identical, performance is identical, cache hit rates are 10% higher now."
I always try give a new model increasingly complex tasks, to find out what it can do and when things break down.
Opus 5.5 has not revealed its limits to me yet, despite me trying really hard.
Even avoiding auto-compaction is no longer needed.
