honestly this makes me think i’d actually like to see an RSC-like twist on the Reanimated model.

reading this thread, perplexed by very few mentions of React Compiler. are people just not using it? at Bluesky, from what i recall, we more or less stopped worrying about re-renders after dropping it in.

Given how much online feedback I see as a maintainer is "something is broken" or "your tool's bad, I like this other tool better", it's very refreshing to see threads where people actually say nice things :)

The question is not about RTK or zustand at all - it's about the separation of client & server state and how deriving state from them both is a lot better than syncing state.

After seeing the backlash to the recent React docs setup update, I've tackled it myself.
I've put up a PR that reworks the "Create" page with better explanations and a "Start from Scratch" section that recommends Vite + routers:
