It takes me ten minutes to find the paprika.

I love making a Julia Child recipe because it starts with “fry a bunch of bacon for its delicious grease” and then the bacon itself isn’t even in the recipe. I know what she did, because I do too.

Since our oven is broken and we’d already bought ingredients for an oven-necessary recipe, our neighbors let us use theirs. My husband in turn is helping with some tech stuff. I love neighborly resource sharing!!

If you’re seeking a good online recipe storage tool, I LOVE Paprika and have used it for years.
The one thing NYT cooking has is one place to save the recipes you want - I understand the need for organization there, we all have orphaned recipes in old bookmark folders.
To make that switch easier I highly recommend Just The Recipe. It extracts the recipe from *any* recipe site.
