The FDA is phasing out six artificial dyes by the end of this year: Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2, and Green 3, with natural alternatives like beta carotene and turmeric fast-tracked to replace them. Not a recall, a shift already showing up on labels.
