🎯 The percentage of Black and Latino registrants on the "unverified" list is a much higher percentage than their share of the Florida registered voter pool (~33%).

🎯 Black registrants are put in "unverified" status (~32%) nearly three times their share of the registrant pool (~12%).

In PA in Jan of 2025, Gen Z new registrants were almost evenly split between Dems and GOPs. Fast forward to now, Dems have approached and exceeded a 40 pt share margin among Gen Z new registrants.

JUST IN: A judge in New Jersey just became the latest to reject DOJ’s demand for state voter rolls. He acknowledges the latest flap over noncitizen registrants but says it’s not relevant to this particular legal dispute. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

NEW: Democrats are making voter registration gains in key states ahead of the midterms.

From 2025 through 2026, Democrats added more net registrants than Republicans in Arizona, Maine, Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

No, I'm a literal fucking social worker and I've interacted with registrants in that capacity.

People should be prepared for this to be technically true. States audit their own “voter rolls” (registrant database) and find a few hundred ineligible registrants

The sleight of hand is that when they check how many ineligible voters cast ballots that were accepted, it’s single digit numbers

Today is the last chance to register to vote in the UK. There was a record-breaking 80k new registrants by 10am which bodes well. Spread the word.

Media coverage of this will of course mislead

The rates of ineligible registrants maxes out at like 0.001%, and illegally cast votes much much lower than that.

🚨Black applicants and other applicants of color are disproportionately impacted by the policy.

🎯Of the 79,447 applicants affected by the policy, only 9% identify as white.
🎯More than 57% of the registrants on the “unverified” list identify as Black or Latino.

The actual purpose is to collectively punish registrants mothers/sisters/wives/girlfriends as the expense of anything that actually prevents sexual violence.
The idea of the registry is to make sure we know where they live, and then we add rules that make it impossible to have a fixed address.

We're brilliant, I tell you.

I believe all registrants under 50k are eligible for a pension

First up, PA - while Dems made gains in every group, the biggest swings were with AAPI voters, where Gen Z new registrants went from +11D in early 2025 to +40D now, followed by white voters, going from -11D to +13D, 29 and 24 pt swings, respectively.

In Florida, Dems were much more underwater with Gen Z new registrants back in Jan of last year, but have erased those advantages and are close to parity at this point. Note, we will be adding a new update here shortly, as this currently only goes through early summer.

I should note this is **new** registrations. Obviously total GOP registrants still far larger than totals of Dem and independent voters in KY

"Kansas tried to implement its own state level SAVE Act in 2013 with disastrous results. The law blocked over 30,000 potential registrants in just 2 years." - Sen. Michael Bennet

NC shows the same trend, though the swings aren't as large as PA, we are still seeing double digit swings in partisan gaps among Gen Z new registrants since Trump took office, with the biggest swings coming from AAPI voters, followed by white voters.

How bad have things gotten for Dems in FL? In 2020, new registrants there were +4 GOP. In 2024? +20 GOP.

The “SAVE” Act would:
Target already-registered voters. The SAVE Act would apply to all new registrants across the United States - including already-registered voters who update their registration as the result of move, a name change, or a party switch.

make Voter Id’s free upon registering, and free to all existing registrants. It’s a poll tax.

This is interesting - I charted out the Dem advantage among new registrants in NC, by week, going back to 2015, broken out by race/ethnicity.
