In general a draft where you get 1 good NHL player is the minimum you want, two NHL players including a star is good, 1 star and 2 other NHL regulars or better is usually a franchise defining draft. Getting 2 stars and 2 other NHL regulars is practically unheard of
One of my favourite things to look at right now is how weak the 2022 draft was, and the Habs came out of it with two star players, plus Owen Beck and Adam Engstrom. 2023 they grabbed Reinbacher, Fowler, and Florian while Mittlestadt leads the AHL in scoring. Absurd.
