Reiksguard Foot Knights.

So I am going to call these done apart from the tray now. I been doing too many touch ups, just wasting time now!

A regiment of Reiksguard knights, I’ve wanted to paint these since I was in high school! Also very happy with how the freehanding turned out

Ye those guys look nice. As an added bonus they look much shabbier than my own designs which will make the reiksguard on foot pop out more. #hobby

Well, I'm pretty sure that whenever I stray into GW land, nothing I do is in any way canon. Here are some 15mm renaissance gendarmes painted up as a rough approximation of Knights Panther and others representing mounted Reiksguard;

Big night for th Sub-Optimals, they saved the Graf's life (again), carried an important message down to Castle Reiksguard and met the Crown Prince. He seemed like a thoroughly nice chap. Too nice? With @brynnaseahawk.bsky.social @tomjmegan.bsky.social @coljmurray.bsky.social @frazermac.bsky.social

Volvemos al ataque. Últimamente no he pintado gran cosa, principalmente por agotamiento (y algo de perrería, no nos vamos a engañar), y para ir calentando he escogido al último reiksguard de los 3 que tengo. Las armaduras son zona de confort

These are probably the last things I completed. They are Alternative Armies 15mm renaissance gendarmes, painted to represent Reiksguard Knights for my 15mm Warhammer Fantasy Empire project. I currently have a bit of painter's block that I need to overcome. I've lots more stuff to complete.

For this #caturday have a photo from a few years ago, when my cat Lilly joined me during a painting session.

I can't help it, but she looks like she just made the winning move in a game. 😼

A white tabby cat on a table, in front of her some wargaming miniatures (mounted knights for Warhammer Fantasy Battles, painted in Reiksguard colors) on a movement tray. She has one paw on the tray, and what appears to be a rather smug look on her face.

If you see this post, post a soldier/knight!!!
An Empire Knight for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It's a Reiksguard Preceptor, mounted on a white horse. While he is following a gravel road through a forest, he spurs his horse into a fight against an unseen enemy. His sword drawn, and he yells a battle cry. His and his horse’s armor are silver of color with golden ornaments, he also is equipped with a white shield with a red skull. His tunic has red and white stripes, so do the plume on his helmet and the horse’s head piece. The horse a caparison with a red and white checkered pattern. In the background are a guinea pig, a tower, and a backdrop showing a forest on the horizon and a blue sky above it.
