HIV meds are very safe for people with HIV because, like every intervention should be judged, the risk:benefit analysis favors taking the medicine and surviving and living a normal life. SARS-CoV2 is not a retrovirus. There’s no evidence that antiretrovirals would help. They do have significant risk
