Each advent we do a #reverseadvent calendar, where we countdown by adding an item to a box for the shelter, dropping it in for Christmas. It’s a great way to countdown without the chocolate, or plastic, while helping others.

Yesterday my #community gathered and stored over a hundred crates and boxes of food and gifts for our local food banks in our 9th annual #ReverseAdvent. I am both proud of the community spirit and ashamed that food banks are even a necessary thing. 😳
