Actually most ghosts have terrible pathfinding (they're memory-limited) so they just kinda select the first detected viable route. Later ghost revisions improved the pathfinding algo

the capper to this seems to be that her recruitment scene WAS patched out of later revisions because recruiting her caused a softlock. So the only way to get her and keep her is to play until you recruit her in 1.0, save the game, and then load that save in a later-issued disc that has bugfixes

Still digging into revisions! I just finished the model and I decided to mute the colors a little bit to be more moody. Things are just blocked in but I'm feeling pretty good about the revisions.
(We are still sticking to VERY low poly models, so some things got adjusted)

As a professional creator, being good at your craft is important. But being good at collaborating is just as if not MORE important.
Your work is not you. Revisions aren't failures. Critiques aren't insults.
You're ability to recieve and respond to feedback is one of the most important skills.

The thing about deadlines that a LOT of creators take for granted is the revisions process as well as THERE'S PROBABLY ANOTHER PERON WHO RELIES ON YOU TO HIT YOUR DEADLINE SO THEY CAN HIT THEIRS

Look, I'm not saying the writers are getting lazy, but making prominent people in Stevens' orbit have demonymic last names of Turkish and German does feel a little bit like "we'll fix it in revisions."
