Think of today’s attacks on the progressive wing of the party by Rahm Emanuel, James Carville, two holdovers from that era, and the willingness in a historic election next week of other Dems to trash-talk or withhold real support for the party’s left. 10/

As a book, Two Towers has always been my favorite, but I think as a film, Fellowship just has something really special. Boromir's death, the Ringwraith chase, Lothlorien; it's all so fantastic.
