Wallace's Well in Robroyston in the northeast of Glasgow. It's named after William Wallace who is said to have drunk from it shortly before he was betrayed and captured by English soldiers in 1305.

We had a brilliant time this week helping with the Children’s Book Project at HarperCollins Robroyston, as colleagues, authors, publishers, community partners and volunteers came together to help put thousands of books into the hands of children across Glasgow!

New build housing estates are like that and where a lot of the kids are living (because the houses are new). One I've visited in Robroyston near Glasgow, a few hundred houses, no benches, 1 bus an hour, 30 minutes walk to the nearest shop, an Asda, along a 4 lane road.
