#pathfinder getting a lot of flak today for "not being for beginners" .
Honestly? This is the "stormwind fallacy" saying that you can't roleplay if you rollplay.
If you want to work as part of a team and earn victory due to system mastery rather than blagging the GM, it's worth looking at.

Rules as written, either the player choose 1 season and stick to it, or the seasons change after every long rest either by player choice or by a roll of a d4.

All of the weird shit aside the problem with FATAL is its TOO FUCKING CRUNCHY. Somebody needs to make a gooner game that's more roleplay and less rollplay.

The "rulings not rules" and "rule zero solves everything" and "good DMs homebrew" and "roleplay is good and rollplay is bad" cultures of play that Hasbro encourages mean that anyone engaging with the game *as* a game with mechanics stricter than Calvinball is accused of ruining everyone's fun.
