Roujiamo has similar concept to a sausage roll for example! Especially the flaky pastry version of roujiamo. Guokui in my mind is like. Similar concept to a Cornish pasty. Jianbing is like a crepe wrap stuffed with protein and veg.

Roujiamo and Jianbing are such high tier snack food that should be way more popular in the states. Xian famous foods kinda does the former but I’ve not seen the latter enough,

I made roujiamo, a pretty popular Chinese street food, which is a flat bread sandwich with stewed fat on skin on pork spareribs in spice and soy sauce, pulled and tossed in fresh chili and chili oil, and served au jus.
Not to brag, mine is way better than your average street vendors.
