Believe it or not, this is generally what I wear around the house.
My ruana cloak is airier than a hoodie and less cumbersome than a blanket.
Also, my belt pouch is more secure than my sweat pants’ pockets.

Y'all, its done 🧶 So happy how it turned out! I really wanted to use this gradient sport weight yarn so was real nervous somewhere along the way my changes would end in disaster. The pattern was for worsted. Made it extra long because when I finished knitting the back I still hadn't changed colors 😂

#wipwednesday working on the Falling Leaves Ruana by Genevra Lee. Just started the final lace pattern. I aim to get the back finished, and then I must re- start the wedding shawl I'm supposed to be knitting. I messed up my first attempt so parked it. 🙃

i got a ruana cloak a few years back at a fair, and i swear i have worn it 5x as much as any other jacket i have
it's like a ye olde scottish snuggie, or a poncho with a slit down the front (ponchos just have a hole for your head, like a button-up vs a pullover)
i think i even want another one @_@
