That's against moving forward. If consequences are not enforced for this kind of atrocity and rulebreaking and antidemocratic violence, we cannot have a system where there are credible consequences to doing so.

I don’t want them to, because what he did was bullshit. I want rules (because republicans are ruthless and need to be reined in). I want the rules to be fair and transparent. I want consequences for rulebreaking. And I want leaders who will fight for us but also support the institution.

If you don't acknowledge that rulebreaking comes from a place of vulnerability and poor infrastructure and laws, not designed for pedestrians and cyclists, then yes: you are the problem!

Finishing up The Ninth Jedi spinoff of Star Wars. Yes it's Star Wars, Japan. Yes it plays a bit loose with the rules especially with lightsabers. But it's fun and the aforementioned rulebreaking fits the theme and it's not constrained by having to tie into the Skywalker saga. 8/10

This has been my experience as a moderator in communities. The moment you create measures for rulebreaking you get people going right up to the line over and over, pissing people off. Your choice is either ban the former or lose the latter.
