The only mcdonalds with a playground (if it even still has it) near me went from a colorful maze of tubes you could see when driving into the parking lot, to a shitty excuse for a "kids zone" that was a few platforms colored black and grey.

It’s saddening, and the commenters in favor are equally sad. Capital punishment, televised or not, isn’t a dissuasive factor for murderers and we all know it. Televising an execution is regressive and it puts the U.S. in the company of countries whose human rights practices we condemn.

It's really tiring and saddening that this keeps happening. It's always the same goddamn pattern of "I'm going to behave rudely and inappropriately towards you", then complain if you don't take their abusive and hurtful behavior sitting down.
