I have been using a Sailrite for years and love it for my fursuit work. Not sure if it is as capable in some ways but it sure is beefy and handles fur just fine after a decade of use

Trying to control the urge to get a Sailrite zigzag walking foot. They are a light heavy duty portable machine that don’t require an external motor and industrial table..
Or a super mean straight stitcher..

Ok, I've had the chance to use a Sailrite LSZ-1 at work, and while it's a nice machine, I'm thinking Sailrite could have done a better engineering job to reduce lubrication points on a machine meant to be portable and used on boats in marine environments. This is just insane.

Yesterday, the BF and I packed up my first industrial sewing machine and sent it away to a local auction house
I've had that Sailrite machine for 5 years and I don't think it'll get nearly what's worth, but we need to make room for a new bartacking machine - I need that capability in my work badly

So I'm going to get the Sailrite Standard Fabricator sewing machine. I measured the height adjustment and it looks like it will be short enough for me (extra vertebrae and short limbs makes sewing tables difficult to use).

I've been sewing for 34 years, but haven't sewn much in the past two years. It's time to start sewing again, especially since I love it so much. I'll finish the dinghy sail, then sew some marine canvas things for my boat.

Got a sailrite for Christmas, I made my dog Pippin a harness as my first leather project.

Goodnight from the river. My Sailrite sewing machine is ready on the boat for sewing. I didn't get to the office before it closed to get motorcycle parts & bicycle tires, but I'll get them Monday.

Honestly, this is 60+ year old technology, similar to my 1964 Singer 431g. For a $1300 machine I'd personally expect better from Sailrite,,at least on that front.

The Accomplish is my preferred piecing machine. I love that machine and it’s the least expensive one I have besides my Sailrite LSZ. It has great feed dogs and a pin system for heavier fabrics or quilt sandwiches. It’s not clunky like the Sailrite.

I have lust in my heart for a Sailrite machine. I’ve done some sail bags and Bimini covers. I use a $10 garage sale Kenmore. It struggles but it gets the job done if I give it breaks. If I did more, I’d love a Sailrite.

Thank you so much!! Yes, I just got the Sailrite few weeks ago! I love it. Still getting used to it, but it’s so great to have something that just plows along. My husband says my bowls should be very expensive for all the damage I’ve done to other machines, lol.

I found myself bemoaning the demise of Joanns last week. Couldn't find certain sewing stuff for an awning in the big city of Boise! And the shelves looked rather empty in some of the crafty type stores I went in. Ended up ordering from Sailrite, which is fine because they're amazing.
