Historical fiction (I love trouble). In 1849 a sailship was wrecked on the Chilean coast of Patagonia. Supposedly all people died, but some Chilean authorities accused the natives of killing and robbing the survivors. They suspected a young woman was kidnapped, and sent some military investigators.

Knowledge / Smack

When he heard Elena the Curious cast a spell of "smack" toward him, Krek the Swift didn't even counter that obvious taunt.

He had just enough time to curse his lack of nautical knowledge before the sailship hit him.

The Lashunta from Castrovel (va-vara-varru)

@lashunta.bsky.social

In the beginning of _A Castrovel Adventure: Part 3_, Lady Vaeol describes their voyage to the Formian War...

#pathfinder #pathfinder2e #lashunta #castrovel #rpg #ttrpg #worldbuilding #worldanvil

We sailed southward at Blighttide’s start: our Son-Retaea firdsith upon a sailship along with Qabarat warriors, where we spent the next five months but for seldom breaks at harbor. Suchly, we were going as a linksith under Qabarat’s warhost, as standard after many yearhundreds since Qabarat bestows ships and oversees the warfare. Thus we clove with firds from many other burghs - Hanazhyana, Mahyat, Lasahaua, and Reshat. I heard sometimes even skyriders from Ofu-Laubu had come southward and joined the host, though seldomly since their burgh lies so far north.

Thus we underwent almost a half-year seafare down the Shattersea Shore, where we stopped at many steads: first Lasahaua, and then Nivaea at the mouth of Great Father Hisyho, the world’s mightiest river. At each stop, more ships clove the warfleet until we tallied more than fifty ships.

I also learned all stood not easy within the Western Asana Alliance. If Son at times rankled under Qabarat’s foremostness, then we are not alone. Qabarat also claims kinship with the Valmayana, forwhy back when Qabarat was an elfburgh, the first lashunta who dwelled there were brokenfolk from Lost Valmaea. Yet Lasahaua, a wealthy tradeburgh within the Eastern Shattersea, often dared Qabarat's leadership. Reshat, which is outcomefully a Qabarat colony in the Western Shatttersea, staunchly upholds their motherburgh, while Nivaea further south offplays them. Qabarat spends great strength to uphold their stead among the alliance, almost much as fighting the Formians. For us from the North, this knowledge opened eyes.

Somewhere between 16 and 25 every British subject will be beaten up by a group of thugs in the street, thrown in a van, dropped off at Plymouth and forced to spend eight months on a sailship floating around outside Brest.

Character building innit?

I'm just in time to completely miss the Summer of Slug Dryrates deadline by a whole day. But I came up with an idea and it was a rush job because I didn't know I was late, but I was sure the deadline was close... so I slapped my technic strandbeast functions together like finesse is a luxury.

A Strandbeast Raft (Walking sailship) with three dryrates crosses the desert in search of whale bones beneath a palm tree.

A Rear view. The legs are mechanised to be actuated into strandbeast motion by a wheel behind the mast.

A top down view from the front with the sial and the Imperial crest in central focus, and also showing off the Model T esque radiator and headlights in front of the mast. Cannons adorn the shoulders of the rickety strandbeast.

Dead on frontal view of the Strandbeast. It's roughly 1 foot tall and has ropes leading up behind the sail to a crows nest. It's a cross between a strandbeast, a raft, and a Model T.

Lovebites - Outstanding Power

The cover of the album "Outstanding Power" by Lovebites. It shows a sailship in stormy sea. The sails are tattered, a piece of the bow has broken off and a snarling white wolf stands right at the front, looking out of the ship. Stars and lightning are visible on the dark sky.

If you are in the Kharads of the Mountain Dwarves and Gnomes if you are wealthy enough you can afford a place on one of their airships to move across the world at pace, as they have limited housing for passengers, otherwise you have to make do with a sailship and your shanks pony

Hallo from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ☀. I will now also post my art here aswell in the butterfly social media "Bluesky".

I do prefer my Tumblr page the most, but that is just because I put the most effort into coding that webpage with like almost no insight in coding. I just like sharing my art everywhere.
