QAnon? Nope. The Talmud: Mishnah Niddah 5:4, Niddah 44b–45a, Yevamot 57b and Sanhedrin 55b. If you think I’ve misrepresented the passages, explain what they actually mean. “Which yeshivah?” isn’t an argument.

Sanhedrin 75:

A man set his eyes upon a certain woman and passion rose in his heart, to the point that he became deathly ill. The doctors said: He will have no cure until he has sex with her.

The Sages said: Let him die.

I’ve heard it said around Jewish legal spaces that the Sanhedrin effectively eliminated the death penalty for many offenses where it’s mandatory under the Torah by reading unreachable evidentiary standards into the law but wasn’t able to find a good quote for that so had to fall back on Maimonides.

Of course the best thing about this is the way they go on to argue about *why* it's true...

The rabbis of the Talmud were hardly feminists, but they had no patience for this bullshit…

this is found in Jewish law.

the Talmud tells of a man deathly ill, whose doctors say that unless he has intercourse with a certain woman, he will die. The rabbi said then he must die. She doesn't even have to talk to him through a fence:

Sure, some of the things written there are bullshit, but this can be said about literally every religious text, not just Judaism.

And I don't think there's anything wrong with Mamdani quoting the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 37a:13

"Anyone who sustains one soul, has sustained an entire world"

Acts also treats Rabban Gamliel haZaken as a just and fair judge of the Sanhedrin. (Eastern Orthodox Christians, incapable of imagining a Jew to be just and fair, claimed he secretly converted. There is no evidence for this whatsoever and his heirs continued to be the nesiim for centuries)

The only thing that makes me doubt this is its context: Jewish courts. At the time of the Mishna's composition the Sanhedrin was firmly regulated by the Romans (see Josephus, Antiquities 20.197–203), and it feels possible that "from Israel" was a way of disavowing jurisdiction over Roman citizens.

The quote is from the Talmud not the Torah. It's the Sanhedrin.
September 30, 2026 at 12:10 AM
So fun fact, "He who saves one life has saved the whole world" is found in both the Talmud (Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5) and the Quran (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:32). Which I'm sure Mr. Mamdani knows.

So if you hate him quoting that, you're antisemitic and also anti-Muslim.

There are three Ananias in Acts. The first one sold property, lied about the proceeds and died. The second one was sent by Jesus to restore the sight of Apostle Paul after he was blinded on the way to Damascus. The third was a Sanhedrin high priest who tried Paul and ordered his mouth slapped.

The Babylonian rabbis tried to do to Anon ben-David what the sanhedrin did to Rabbi Yeshua ben-Yoseph. Villainous.

Well, who does yahu like? That's the better question, their talmud and epstein says clearly that we all are like animals to them.
Here is the quote i found on google:
Talmud Bavli, Tractate Sanhedrin, 59a
"כָּל עַמִּים כָּמְהִי מַעֲשֵׂי בְּחֵמֶת"
"All nations of the world are compared to animals"
