Putin has killed 1.5 million Russian troops with Ukraine. Sansctions have caused a lot of aggravation among Russians, like long lines for gas, etc. I don't think Putin dragging them into another conflict while still fighting Ukraine wouldn't be a tipping point for Russia to overthrow Putin
