Garden TrailCam has mainly picked up rat (1x), cat (4x), Mrs Sciencebase (1x), Sciencebase Jr (1x), Postie (1x), Me....and....and...yes Fox (1x backend). 19h45! Pleased with that (the camera's auto-clock seems to be an hour fast though and no way to fix)

Mrs Sciencebase almost stepped on this Adder as it crossed the footpath at RSPB Minsmere last week. I got a quick snapshot of it and thought I'd missed the head, but that is in the photo, just not quite in focus...

There seem to be a few other reports of CY in Cambridgeshire in the last few days, definitely not an irruption, but nice to know they're about. Someone reported the rare 'helice' form too (We've only ever seen that in Greece, Mrs Sciencebase spotted this one for me to photograph)

Saw a Grey Heron land in our garden right next to the pond. Had flown before I could grab my proper camera, but the garden Trailcam recorded the cheeky blighter #FrogThief #UKBirding
