Book income and royalties are the only way we survived not ending up homeless in 2023-2024. I'm still in "scrambling to survive" mode until I can get SCIG infusions again, but I am incredibly thankful to everyone who buys books by trans authors right now.
Trans creatives, especially trans women, often have no other income but their creative work, and that creative work funds literal survival stuff like this entire 'incredibly critical dental procedures' thing.

Es ging ihm trotz zahlreicher medikamentöser Interventionen zuletzt immer schlechter, darunter unter anderem IVIG und SCIG.
Inzwischen ist klar, er hat auch EDS oder hEDS. Vor einiger Zeit nun wurden MRT- und CT-Aufnahmen gemacht.

This all started when I was not doing well slowly fighting every 3 months to stay on SCIG hoping to get to a high enough dose, and our insurance had been through Glenn. I COBRA'd it for 13 months with our savings, but when it ran out, I lost access to SCIG. I thought I'd get worse slowly...

This all started when I was not doing well slowly fighting every 3 months to stay on SCIG hoping to get to a high enough dose, and our insurance had been through Glenn. I COBRA'd it for 13 months with our savings, but when it ran out, I lost access to SCIG. I thought I'd get worse slowly...
I did not. Two weeks without SCIG and it was like my body was on fire. Medicaid was hard to get on, and kept denying everything for the first three months. Then wouldn't cover SCIG, starting me on IVIG, which is like... crawling towards better an inch a month. It's been tough.

Tomorrow I will go get a liter of saline infused to help flush out the scig my body apparently hates. #LongCovid
