Good thing I love cats a lot.

I made it to 20. Now there is snow. I will probably plant the rest in containers on my screenporch.

So I was REALLY SURPRISED when @ritabriar.bsky.social drove me home one day a good while after I'd last seen Stripey to find kitten explosion on my screenporch.

She was SO skinny and I think she brought them to me on purpose, thinking I might put out more food if I saw them, as I do. She was right.

If you're stressed that not many ppl are following you, I have one weird trick for that. It's kitten season. Tnr your local ferals and adopt out the likely candidates. Photograph your hilarious "oh god I have how many cats" journey. You'll be wondering where tf all these ppl came from in no time.

Ok well i decided I could not be risking no $55. So I went and got... a way bigger package than expected. They must have put the litter and food together. Which means it weighed 65 pounds which I got to a high place in the screenporch. And then Tux tried to slip out again.

Lake of the Woods, on the border of Minnesota and Canada, holds almost 15,000 islands. Many of the islands are occupied with summer cabins and residents travel everywhere by boat. We were lucky enough to spend a few days on Arcadia Island in August. It was magical.

I once came out onto my screenporch to find a cat i suspect is his ancestor dangling from the ceiling by his front claws with the most "oh shit" expression. I could not for the life of me figure out how he even got up there.

Taking a lunch break from cleaning and prepping the decks and the cat is Extremely Displeased that the screenporch is not yet open for his majesty to go Outside to yell at the birds and squirrels. Sir, I need strength to continue, I beg you, let me eat.

I have a screenporch on the back. The hotspot is the garage. They fly in when we drive the cars in.

They were outside. We have been taking everyone to the vet, and they've been in and out of my screenporch.

But yesterday all the kittens went at once to get a flea bath, and I moved her into my house proper, and everything is weird and her kittens smell funny. They're weaned, tho.

I'm on the Iowa/Illinois border. A stray brought me her whole family lol. Poor thing's a spring kitten herself, but she did so well by them.

Queen Horkatha, the Turd. Last week I mentioned I found a lovely wool rug the color of cat vomit. Today I finally dragged it into the house, laboriously moved half the screenporch, and laid it out with my new chairs. Was only there for two hours before SOMEONE had to christen it. She is not sorry.

maybe! i have no idea how they got into the screenporch though! like why were they in there.

they found all the holes in my screenporch. So they are at my house... sort of. They are only not my cats because they are strays staying with me voluntarily. And I can't take care of ten cats permanently.

Pumpkin Kitty finally found out that the bathroom window screen has been removed and goes right on to the screenporch~

Sinikka spends every relaxing morning in her screen porch, especially on weekends.
