If you were a scriptwriter all the elements were there. Loons were desperate, and as you have noted the pieces have been there (are there), just frustratingly not put together. LAFC in the dangerous state of a string of bad form but safely in the playoffs.

I found funny that his daughter ended being a scriptwriter of the Tomb Raider reboot.
If someone has a problem with the story, I must say the game and stages are made first, then the scriptwriters must join the parts, so I think she did well with that handicap.

IMHO George Lucas is a great storyteller but a poor scriptwriter. The *story* of the prequels (which the Clone Wars develops & enriches) is great, but is let down by poor writing...
(the sequels, OTOH, while having some great moments & characters, represent a fundamental *failure* of storytelling)
