@kenwhite.bsky.social how would you feel having to explain to a jury why your client decided to disable easy searchability by third parties of outputs from your revenge porn generator while not actually turning off the revenge porn generator, whose replies are still being publicly churned out?
They did however disable the Media tab on Grok’s account so it’s harder to see what gross shit it’s generating for people.

i use Alt text as much for my own benefit as anything. searchability and translation are both incredibly useful
The fact is that many people will not share posts without alt-text. It's for real people on here, not theoretical people.

This is very North America/Europe centric. A big chunk of the world doesn't have any kind of online database. Here in Southeast Asia, the only "repositories" of wildlife pics are photographer groups on FB and Instagram, both are bad at searchability.

One method that was recommended to me, as an ADHD friendly version of meditation: put a random object in front of you and try to only have thoughts related to that object. Any other thought, redirect back to the object. I've tried it a few times, is better than focusing on breath
