Munich was impossible. Had 70k in front of me and it was sold out before I reached 15k. Headed over to Brussles, which looked sold out as well, but refreshed the seatmap until something popped up which I snatched away. Took multiple attempts since others had the same stragglers but I got them! 🥳

One thing I love about EK is the 3D virtual seatmap. I wish there were similar databases for other airlines.

Randomly saw this new United Airlines seatmap for their 787 flights on Reddit and I was flabbergasted. There are only 10 rows of normal seats on this entire airplane. Over half is taken up by little lie flat bed suites. Who is affording this or flying enough to get upgraded to this? Boggles my mind

Correcting myself here, it operates across a range of destinations. So I'm very lucky tonight. That said, it has been this seatmap since I booked a few months ago.

This is also just a dumb add because who is picking a middle seat. Not to mention this isn't a real seatmap bc the A220s have a 2-2 configuration at the front

something glitched and for a good minute I thought we would be flying on a boeing 777-300er accidentally in premium eco, but actually it's an airbus 350 and we're in normal eco. travel agent says we've got extra legroom (my colleague is Tall (tm)) but seatmap says it's regular.
oh well.

Third party sites don't guarantee the correct seat maps. I'd check the seatmap for that flight/date on Delta's site.
