If Democrats want to win the next election, all they need to do is announce that, if put in power, they will order the immediate execution of all health insurance executives.
Apropos of nothing, thru my spouse‘s job we have “ good” insurance. 5yrs ago, I had knee replacement &they made me jump thru 1 million hoops ofc (& we were out of pocket $$$$ too). 1 month later, they sent me a 5-figure bill for the full amount. They *retroactively* unapproved it & demanded I pay up

Ok, to be fair, this doesn’t mean they will stop anesthesia before the surgery is done. It means your anesthesiologist won’t get paid for work they do after an arbitrary time limit set my the insurance. Because god forbid if heal insurance has to pay actual health providers for providing healthcare!
Blue Cross Blue Shield in Connecticut, New York and Missouri has declared it will no longer pay for anesthesia for the full length of some surgeries.
It the procedure goes over a certain time, anesthesia will not be covered for the duration.

This just means SECB itself doesn't know what they are doing any more, and have fully ceased to be a reliable source of insight for progressive voters. Endorsing the Kavanaugh-backing Will Dreher in particular over two better qualified, more progressive opponents ends their credibility for good.
