165 track album

Aitch is heading back to Australia this January — Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane.

Death Cab for Cutie have released the new video for ‘Stone Over Water’, just weeks out from their Australian headline tour this November. Taken from the band’s 11th studio album ‘I Built You A Tower’, ‘Stone Over Water’ deals with the strain of pretending everything is fine when it very much isn’t. Its new video takes a lighter route through that emotional weight, pairing the song with slapstick animation and a small protagonist having a spectacularly bad day. Musician and animator Sean Solomon directs and creates the clip, drawing inspiration from the visual gags of cartoonists including MAD Magazine’s Sergio Aragonés.

reland’s most irreverent pop star CMAT brings her EURO-COUNTRY tour to Australia in January 2026, following a landmark year that included Glastonbury, chart-topping success, and rave reviews.

Mumford & Sons have added an exclusive Brisbane date to their 2026 Prizefighter Tour, expanding their Australia and New Zealand return to five arena shows as anticipation builds for their forthcoming sixth album.

On a cool, rainy night at Moore Park, Holly Humberstone’s quiet intensity and Sam Fender’s Springsteen-scale power turn a the Sydney crowd into a chorus, proving why both artists continue to define the modern UK sound.

The Last Dinner Party return with ‘Second Best’, the third single from their forthcoming album From The Pyre. Inspired by Sparks and written by guitarist Emily Roberts, the track blends heartbreak, self-discovery, and art-pop ambition into one of their most striking releases yet.

Holly Humberstone is heading back to Australia in 2027, stepping into the biggest Australian headline rooms of her career following the release of second album Cruel World. The British singer-songwriter was only here last year, but her relationship with Australian audiences has been building quickly. Backseat Mafia caught Humberstone twice during that visit, at her own headline show and again supporting Sam Fender, two very different settings that showed just how comfortably her songs can move between the intimacy of a smaller room and the scale demanded by a major support slot.

There are sailor suits everywhere. Thousands of them. Sydney’s Afterpay Arena looks briefly as though it has been commandeered by a particularly emotional navy, while down the front one guy has gone completely off-script and arrived dressed as a clown. The Coneheads are here, and subtlety is clearly not on tonight’s agenda. Backseat Mafia last caught Conan Gray when he toured Australia in 2024, but this is a very different proposition. The Wishbone World Tour is bigger, stranger and far more theatrical, built around Gray’s fourth album Wishbone and a stage shaped, naturally enough, like an enormous wishbone.

Tove Lo is heading back to Australia in March 2027, bringing her ‘ESTRUS’ tour to Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth with rising Australian pop artist SALTY joining her across all four dates. The Australian run follows the release of Tove Lo’s sixth album, ‘ESTRUS’, arriving worldwide on September 18. The accompanying global tour begins in Nashville on September 15 before moving through the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK and Europe, with Australia joining the itinerary next March. ‘ESTRUS’ finds the Swedish singer-songwriter digging further into the collision of sex, vulnerability and emotional chaos that has run through her work from the beginning.

Arthur Hill is heading back Down Under in 2027, bringing his biggest headline run yet to Australia and New Zealand as part of the aptly named ‘Arthway Round The World’ tour. The London-based singer-songwriter will play shows in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch before crossing the Tasman for dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The tour follows his previous Stella AusTour shows and arrives with Hill's profile considerably bigger than it was on his last visit. The 26-year-old has built that rise around bright, witty pop that rarely disguises the more vulnerable writing underneath.

The Strokes bring their Reality Awaits tour to Australia in February 2027 for four shows, kicking off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, February 13. They then head to Melbourne for two nights at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, February 16 and Wednesday, February 17, before wrapping up with a huge Sydney Summertime show at Centennial Park on Saturday, February 20. That Sydney date comes with a formidable supporting cast. The inaugural Sydney Summertime sees The Strokes joined by Beck, Courtney Barnett and Promiseland. Grammy Award winner Beck returns after a four-decade career that has made him a longstanding favourite with Australian audiences, while Courtney Barnett steps back into the spotlight with new album Creature of Habit.

Łaszewo are heading Down Under for the first time, with the Santa Barbara electronic-pop trio announcing their debut Australian headline tour for January 2027. Matthew Ehrlich, Keeva Bouley and Justin De La Fuente have had a rapid rise, helped along by viral breakout ‘messy’ and follow-up ‘HIGHJACK (right back)’ with A$AP Rocky and Alok. Their mix of emotional pop songwriting and big electronic production has taken them from sold-out US shows to a Red Rocks debut, with European and Australian dates now next on the list. The Australian run kicks off at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on January 7, followed by The Rechabite in Perth on January 8 and Brisbane’s The Triffid on January 9.

James Blake will return to Australia for the first time since 2019 this December, bringing his latest album Trying Times to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne for a trio of headline performances. Presented by Secret Sounds and Double J, the British producer, songwriter and musician will begin the tour at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on December 1 before heading to the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on December 2 and concluding at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on December 5. The dates arrive in support of Trying Times, Blake’s self-released 2026 album and his highest-charting record to date.

Three decades on from their humble beginnings in Bellingham, Washington, Death Cab For Cutie remain one of indie rock’s most enduring and influential institutions. And when Ben Gibbard and co. return to Australia this November on the I Built You A Tower Tour, they’ll be joined by one of the country’s most compelling young acts, with Melbourne dream-pop trio Acopia today confirmed as special guests. The newly announced support slot brings together two bands united by a shared appreciation for atmosphere and emotional weight. While Death Cab For Cutie have spent nearly 30 years refining their blend of aching lyricism and luminous melodies, Acopia have quietly emerged as one of Australia’s most captivating exports, weaving together hushed vocals, intricate rhythms and immersive soundscapes that have earned them sold-out shows across the UK, Europe and Australia.

There’s no easing into a band like YHWH Nailgun. Formed in 2020 and pronounced “Yahweh Nailgun,” the quartet operate in a space where punk abrasion, noise-rock chaos and electronic distortion don’t just collide — they grind against each other until something new takes shape. Now, after leaving a dent on Australian audiences during last year’s run through smaller rooms, they’re coming back — and this time the spaces are bigger. The band have confirmed a return to Australia later this year, expanding their footprint and adding New Zealand to the itinerary, a natural next step for a group whose reputation seems to grow in real time.

Some bands spend years chasing the moment they sound fully themselves. DMA'S appear ready to bottle it. The Sydney trio have announced a new East Coast headline tour alongside details of their forthcoming fifth studio album, a self-titled record arriving August 7 via Wonderlick Entertainment / Sony Music Australia / RCA UK. Preorder/presave HERE. The run begins November 27 at Fortitude Music Hall before moving to Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens on November 28 as part of the Live at the Gardens series, then closing with a hometown statement at Sydney Opera House Forecourt on December 3.

Death Cab for Cutie will return to Australia this November for their first tour in more than seven years, with Secret Sounds confirming a three-date run in support of their forthcoming album I Built You A Tower, due for release on June 5. The tour will begin at Hordern Pavilion on Thursday 12 November, before heading to Margaret Court Arena on Friday 13 November and concluding at Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday 15 November. The shows will feature material from the new record alongside a catalogue that now spans three decades, with frontman Ben Gibbard continuing to lead a band that has grown from its 1997 origins in Bellingham, Washington into one of the defining acts of modern indie rock.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise close out their Australian tour with a sold-out show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, delivering an emotionally charged set that blends indie rock, genre-defying songwriting and raw onstage connection, with support from rising songwriter Holly Hebe.

CMAT brings EURO-COUNTRY to the Enmore Theatre, following a Factory Theatre appearance last year and a warmly received album that continues to grow in scale on stage.

The Midnight will return to Australia this January and February, joined by Boo Seeka, for a three-date headline run across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Mumford & Sons will return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 for three arena shows supporting their upcoming album Prizefighter, joined by Folk Bitch Trio on all dates.

Sudan Archives returns to Australia in March 2026 for her first shows since 2023, performing at Perth Festival and headline dates nationwide following the release of The BPM
