Dogs may be better at picking up patterns in human speech than previously thought. EEG recordings show that they track consonant patterns more strongly than vowel patterns, just like people do when segmenting speech! 🧪

In case anyone is interested, look at the waveform of the final bit of one of Starmer's (better) speeches. How even the segmenting, pauses, volume, pace, and inflection. It looks artificial. Worse, I can tell without listening that the speaker hasn't decided what he wants the audience to take away.

Erm there's a name for this. It's a 'family' show. We could make 10 more shows like this if we wanted instead of segmenting audiences like a butcher all the damn time
