Folks in or near my age range or life stage typically seem to want someone self-assured and stable, whereas I’m more like an early 20s guy in terms of wanting to socialize, experiment, try new things, push boundaries, and evolve myself with weight loss and therapy and the like.

It’s fascinating how self assured people are around this. I kind of thought this would be an interesting philosophical discussion of what we understand as the limits of cognition.

My problem with this is just the self-assured naïveté that solving marriage difficulties is as simple as taking a “love drug” that BTW also has some negative psychological & physical side effects when taken longer term. While it might help a little, at the end of the day you need to do the real work
