The most humiliating gentiles here are the ones who are *more* rhetorically extreme than self-declared liberal Zionists and who talk about Palestinians as if I switched my channel to 1990s RTS 1

If you were committed incest upon, you don't owe it to anyone to talk to that person ever again. Say it one more time. You don't owe anything to that person no matter what pressure other family members may exert. They're in the wrong. Protect your Self

Your thoughts today shape your tomorrow. Negative self-talk isn't fact — it's just the loudest voice in the room. Choose one small, kinder thought today and see what it does.

This is what has me wonder if blizzards plan is to talk over the perception on twitter and ride it out. Other platforms are moderating, players self moderate through that addon and blizzard responds to reports inside their garden.

I just love watching the self-control and superior verbal skills of Jack Smith. He doesn't let faux-good-ol-boy Kennedy get him off track. Turns all those questions right back on him. "I'm here to talk about my work as special counsel."

Are young people ‘snowflakes’ or is mental distress on the rise?: Points of View | Teachers Talk Radio
An independent review into mental health, ADHD and autism, conducted by Professor Peter Fonagy, has found that there has been a real rise in mental distress amongst the younger generation, with anxiety, depression, self-harm and eating disorders the most common challenges facing our young people. The review came as a result of a claim by then-health secretary Wes Streeting that young people were over-diagnosed and "written off". Last year, a BBC report found many GPs also had concerns about over-diagnosis, with the view that normal life stresses were becoming medicalised. Professor Fonagy, a clinical psychologist and adviser to NHS England, has spoken to the BBC ahead of the publication of the review, which concludes that around one in four 16-24 year olds now struggle with their mental health, and NHS figures show the number of young people having contact with mental health services has increased by 50% in the last five years. The debate, however, is still fierce. Are we facing a real terms mental distress crisis? Are we more aware of our mental health and therefore seeking help earlier? Is the expectation of resilience an outdated concept? Join Maud Waret, Michael Wright, Ollie Bayliss and Liz Webb live at 8 pm tonight to share your views.

gonna make some changes. I'm showing up as my actual, regular self, metal band tee and all. I'll talk like it's a podcast instead of a lecture.

When I talk to teachers, time constraints absolutely hamper energy, curiosity, self-care, and a sense of work-life balance.

A floating sub role would also provide an attractive option for teachers who want to go on partial parental leave (e.g., half a day) or folks curious about teaching.

Swearing has a lot of currency in the Great Lakes region. People just cuss a lot more, I imagine it's spread from factory culture. So, it reads to my Midwest self as authentic. I feel like a sailor when I talk to people from other regions.

How to tell your story when it hurts the most
How to tell your story when it hurts the most
How to talk about suicide, and what it means to grieve a loss no one else understands. Kim Borrowdale lost her aunt to suicide while working in London. A decade later, a therapist asked her one question that reframed her entire career. ⚠️ Content advisory: this episode discusses suicide & self-harm prevention and grief & loss, which some listeners may find distressing. If you need support, you're not alone. Help is available: • Lifeline (24/7 crisis support): 13 11 14 · lifeline.org.au • GriefLine: 1300 845 745 · griefline.org.au Suicide grief is categorically different from other loss. There are no answers, no explanations, and the self-blame can be relentless. Kim Borrowdale knows this firsthand. After her aunt died by suicide while she was living in London, everything shifted. She left corporate communications work, returned to Australia, and eventually became Head of Communications at Suicide Prevention Australia, helping shape how communities talk safely about suicide and mental health. But the turning point came years later, in a therapy session. A counsellor asked her a question that cut to the heart of her whole life's work: "Do you think you do this work because you want others to be heard because you yourself were never heard?" It reframed everything. Now Kim coaches individuals and organisations to tell their stories safely, combining trauma-informed communication with narrative craft. She knows that stories move people when the storyteller feels the weight of what they're sharing and makes themselves vulnerable, not when they perform polished perfection. If you've lost someone to suicide, or you're wondering how to have a conversation about it, or you're asking yourself why you're drawn to certain work or relationships, this episode holds space for all of it. 🕒 CHAPTERS: 00:00 Did you want them heard because you weren't 02:40 Growing up red-haired in a small beach town 06:18 The curious kid in a sports-obsessed place 08:59 Why she left for Brisbane, then London 14:11 Communications work and what it meant 17:13 The breakup that brought her home 19:01 Her aunt died by suicide 23:08 Working in suicide prevention and safe storytelling 30:05 Moving from freelance to coaching storytellers 35:10 What a therapist's question can do 42:48 Why storytelling matters and how it moves people 46:13 Teaching people to tell their own stories 👍 New here? We're glad you found your way here. Kintsugi Heroes was created from a simple belief: every person has a story worth sharing, and sometimes the story we need to hear arrives exactly when we need it most. Our name comes from the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold. Rather than hiding the cracks, they are honoured as part of the object's history. We believe people are much the same. The experiences that challenge us, break us, shape us, and help us grow are often the very things that connect us to one another. This channel is home to honest conversations about resilience, hope, grief, recovery, courage, love, and what it means to keep moving forward when life doesn't go to plan. Here you'll find six podcast series, each sharing stories through a different lens: • Kintsugi Heroes, hosted by John Milham • Animals & Us, hosted by Natalie Stockdale • Grit Diaries: From Grit to Grace, hosted by Simone Allan and Maryan Bova • From There to Here, hosted by Emma Bellamy-Dodd • Golden Threads: Stories of Disability & Resilience • Pride in Stories, hosted by John Dwyer Every story shared here is offered with the hope that it helps someone feel a little less alone. A little more understood. A little more connected. Whether you're navigating a difficult season, supporting someone you love, or simply looking for meaningful conversations, you're welcome here. New episodes are released fortnightly across our series. If you'd like to help us keep these stories freely available to everyone, you can support our work here: https://www.kintsugiheroes.com.au/donate Thank you for being part of this community. We help people tell the stories they need to share so others can discover the story they need to hear. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CONNECT WITH US ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌐 https://www.kintsugiheroes.com.au ▶️ https://www.youtube.com/@kintsugiheroes 📘 https://www.facebook.com/kintsugiheroes 📸 https://www.instagram.com/kintsugi.heroes 💼 https://www.linkedin.com/company/kintsugi-heroes #KintsugiHeroes #LivedExperience #ResiliencePodcast #thegoInthecracks #storytelling #griefandloss #suicideawareness #mentalhealth #publicpeaking
