For those following semi-colon discourse, I strongly suspect that the Telegraph’s replacement of a comma by a semi colon in “it was the best of times, it was the worst of times” was also the result of an AI query bsky.app/profile/tomf...
The Telegraph article has, extremely oddly, falsely claimed that one of the best-known lines in English literature contains a semicolon.
