What's the WEIRDEST thing you've written?
For my WoW RP guild I invented a villagnelle - a gnome villanelle. Since World of Warcraft gnomes have four fingers it has one less stanza and is tetrameter instead of pentameter.
Still mad that the guild leader replied quite rapidly with a better one.

Instead of asking someone if they’re a top or bottom I’m just going to ask if they’re the octave or the sestet.

It’s a bop, so the structure is
Sestet 1 - state the problem
Octave - complicate the problem
Sestet 2 - provide a solution or dramatize the failure to do so
And I am afraid I don’t implicate myself enough in the second sestet. I realized I would have to call myself out in the octave.

Like I also write a lot in the “bop” form by Afaa Weaver and it’s like a sestet, an octave, and a sestet with a refrain after each and I realized I could do a “triple” bop composed of three bops but in the middle on it’s two octaves and a sestet. Which sounds silly but it was big for me lol.

But would it ever grasp that the sonnet often works well when the octave poses a question the sestet attempts to answer? Would it ever have the notion to deliberately flip that pattern on its head, and have the octave provide an answer the sestet then questions?
