I can't wait for Evercold to glamour Wide Volley over the ugly mess that is Shadowbite. Wide Volley is so stylish because your character does a sick flip and shoots glittery arrows. Shadowbite just looks like a generic dark magic barrage

They also made a huge change I was really hoping for: Evolved Bard brings back the Wide Volley animation at higher levels. Currently, it's level-locked to under-72, because at 72 it gets replaced by the way-less-interesting Shadowbite. I was using a mod to force the Wide Volley animation. No more!

I've said it dozens of times and I'll say it again. MAKE SHADOWBITE ON BARD ITS OWN BANE! Bane was SUCH a good ability on SMN back in SB, I get so annoyed having to put my dots on every single enemy in a mob pull. It's tedious, just let Shadowbite be Bane for Bard PLEASE!!!!

Usually I prefer the animations of the higher level variations of abilities but the "upgrade" from Wide Volley to Shadowbite on bard is a travesty

my defense for m10s is i gotta find a better way to keep up with my freaking dots its rough for a bard in this fight. plus im like ok shadowbite its a gain on two and these two freaks decide to jump to other sides of the arena so here i am a court jester with a bow playing a little ditty

i've seen suggesting it but honestly even if despair were to upgrade into flare star i'd still be kind of upset with its continued existence because it'd be a wide volley -> shadowbite level case of "the upgrade has a worse animation"

hate when the upgraded move is a downgrade in flair
like with bard they brought back wide volley as a base version of shadowbite but wide volley is way cooler looking
