Pretty great art direction, they went back to a style more reminiscent to before the two DS games when it came to the portraits and it looks great. Music was pretty solid but I don't really recall a lot now that I think about it, but I do recall liking the part when shanoa got her resolve and went

In that regard, more like stages and gauntlets you need to get past 🤔 once you reach the castle though the game really opens up and lets you choose how to tackle things, and was overall a big improvement imo. I thought the glyph system in the game was really cool. Shanoa can absorb glyphs which she

Challenging side in an unfun way. Most of the metroidvania castlevania are frankly on the easier side outside of a few tough sections depending on the game. Ecclesia a lot of bosses healths felt really inflated, takes a while to take them down and they can kill Shanoa rather quick so not much room

Also finished Order of Ecclesia. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed i didn't like it as much as I was hoping/expecting. It's still overall solid. I very much enjoyed Shanoa as a protagonist, and especially loved her in the ending, it was really good. I think this was also one of the overall better

this game takes place in 1499 but there are pictures of Brauner (born ~1870) and Shanoa (born ~1810 most likely) #belmontscurse

So Blueskymods labelled my almost 40 years old Simspons gag "adult content" because of said butt crack, but lets the extremely sexy Shanoa being visible to everybody (not that I am complaining).
Mods/bots are really strange priority.

Konami really dropped one of the greatest protagonist designs of all time and said "ok, now let's put the series on ice for about 15 years."

Game is really fun, but also really exhausting to play. It's just mentally tiring to have to be on the ball the entire time.
I loved Dead Cells but honestly that's not what I am looking for in an actual Castlevania game. Even Shanoa would get her ass beat here.

My dream is for someone to pick up on my psychic wavelengths and draw Shanoa striking that pose but instead of sucking up some abstract symbol, she sucks up an entire monster or person
