Ugh, maybe that's unfair. They're just designed in a way that is distinctly annoying me me. It's like they're trying REALLY REALLY hard to be as cool as some of the effortlessly sick Vania designs.

really curious about the design structure for this game. glyph system seems pretty open ended. and the idea around exploring independently disconnected zones is something few Action RPG's do, then or now.

shanoa ecclesia is one of my favorite characters ever for many reasons, but she's a spellsword, which is awesome but in the vein of "i cast giant fucking hammer that kills you" which is even more awesome
