Progress on my Stephen West shawlography shawl. I'm calling it 'verdigris copper pipes ' as the icord section reminds me of steampunk copper pipes. I hand dyed a couple of the yarns for a verdigris effect. #steampunkknitting #knitting #shawls 🧶 #slowfashion

My first mystery knit along was a Stephen West mkal, Shawlography. #showmeyourknits
I had carefully picked other colours, but when the MKAL started I was in Copenhagen, so I ran out and bought some other colours as well as some mohair for effect and transparency.

I started serious knitting in 2020 during lockdown. My first Stephen West was the 2021 MKAL Shawlography. I really like Lyrical Knits and Casapinka designs, too. Stephen West has super helpful videos, and this pattern is actually pretty simple. I’m hmrags on Ravelry! What’s your knitting story?

I try to look at it as I’d be knitting either way, may as well knit THIS the best I can, and then I have a fresh start on the next project, just postponed a few days.
I think it would work really well a/ scraps. But I love this bundle that I originally planned for Shawlography. Perfect for this.
