I actually spent Wednesday with them with my friend Connie 😁 She’s been my partner in the project for the past two years. SheClicks brought us together! We did attempt to tell both the vixens that they were famous but they’re not fussed 🤣😉

Thanks ever so much for choosing handsome Sebastian the fox for the challenge last month 🙏🏻 I think maybe there’s a slight look of surprise on the polar bear’s face that he’s been confused with a completely different mammal 🤣🤭 It’s a glorious photo from another great #SheClicks member, just not mine!

Absolutely my pleasure 😁 It looks like I can finally go ahead with a SheClicks meet-up in Brighton this weekend to see the starling murmuration at the pier! Had to call it off twice due to the weather in February 🤦‍♀️ It would be amazing if the gulls joined in!!

I haven’t kept track of Wex!! They changed the format completely and I think it completely went over to Insta. The only reason I remember fsprintmonday is that I’m desperately trying to remember the SheClicks one 🤭 Nearly forgot that March started yesterday!!

I haven’t been entering anything beyond the Monday challenges here and the SheClicks monthly challenge! Partly as I forget 🤣 but also I just don’t usually have extra energy for the whole process around it 😱 But I do have a folder of potentials! This is definitely one for “Intimate Landscapes”!

I keep saying that and then having to cancel another SheClicks meet-up in Brighton to watch starling murmurations 🤣🤦‍♀️ The last date we’ve got is the 7th of March so I’m trying to keep optimistic!!

My friend Connie and I have been trying to run one of our SheClicks meet-ups in Brighton for the starling murmurations and every week we’ve had to consult every app going trying to work out if we’ll have to postpone again 🤣🤦‍♀️ Sunday isn’t great again 🤦‍♀️

My favourite festive tree decoration this year is this sweet little blue tit, seen here feeding on purple beautyberry (callicarpa), at RHS Garden Wisley a few weekends ago at a festive meetup for members of the SheClicks community. The background of the image is a soft graduation of colours starting with hints of orange in the lower left corner, turning to yellow and then green in the right hand half of the piece. These are the colours of the shrubs and ferns behind the subject seen completely out of focus. The purpleberry shrub has slender branches that are a greyish in colour and bear vibrant purple berries in clusters along the stems. A shallow depth of field was used to create patches of blurred purple bokeh from berries on stems in the fore and background of the main subject. The blue tit is perched centre left of the landscape aspect image. It’s in profile with its head turned to look to the right along the length of its body. Centre right of the image is text in a handwritten style that reads “Berry Merry Christmas”. Here’s a description from Google of the Blue Tit: A small, vibrant European bird known for its bright blue cap, white cheeks with a black eye stripe, yellow breast, and blue/green wings, making it a common and attractive garden visitor. About 12cm long, it's agile, often seen hanging upside down foraging for insects and seeds, with females slightly paler than males.

It's a lovely group 😀 I generally avoid women-only groups but sort of fell into SheClicks and find it really supportive. I've been on a few of their Bushy Park meetups led by @sarahlonges.bsky.social and they're fantastic!

Thank you Lorna 😊 One of my favourite places. No, I'm not an RPS member although I belong to SheClicks, where you might have seen me? And Haslemere Camera Club, where you probably haven't 😂 (it's small). I've had a couple of trips to Chichester with my camera and must do more - it's lovely.
