It seems to me that you can (maybe) manage this if you are a genuine icon, but simultaneously if you *were* a genuine icon you probably wouldn’t have to be doing this?

Berenjak down in Borough Market is normally busy but keep places for walk ins and is excellent.
Manteca towards the Shoreditch end of city is some of the best Italian food in London.
Trattoria Brutto near Farringdon is sublime but harder to get in at short notice.
