They've just started doing some in the EU but nothing beyond. They've been only going a few years and started off in the North of England. Run primarily by one guy and his team,the vibe is very much about it being a con for fans not a cash grab like Showmasters (who suck).

Yes, totally. I’ll be back next year. We do the usual bigger ones as well (though didn’t do Showmasters this year). Mark has sadly missed both Sequentials due to being his weekend in work.

We used to love MCM but it's changed a lot. MegaCon is great fun, and is growing. Showmasters we have not done in years but we've heard its got better? Not touching Monopoy cause of their alt-right links.

2) I suspect Geek Mania may be run by “Showmasters” - the 2-day brand for the same company that run the 1-day Comicon Cons binder the brand “Creed”. Having just gotten my foot under the table with Creed, I’ll look into it.

So I get the joke is that Martyn is a failboy and incompetent and a pushover. I get that this has always been the joke. I just don't think it's ever a joke that's actually funny, especially when it's his alleged friends who don't respect or support him either.
